RG200RR

RG200RR is a superb, early maturity (group 0.0) soybean, adapted specifically for the shorter growing conditions of the Northern Plains.

RG200RR delivers a quality performance even in stress environments like heavy, wet soils, while showing excellent yield on better ground.

This variety consistently scores near the top of NDSU’s iron deficiency chlorosis (IDC) trials. Iron deficiency chlorosis robs soybeans of yield potential and should be considered when selecting a soybean variety. With an IDC score of about 2.2, it ranks with the best, demonstrating its ability to perform, even in tough soil conditions.

RG200RR has similar performance traits to the conventional Traill variety. Yield is very similar to Traill, while the lodging score is slightly improved when compared with Traill, in spite of being about an inch taller on average. Farmers also appreciate the ease of harvesting the RG200RR.

RG200RR has purple flowers and brown pods with a light tawny pubescence. The seeds are yellow with an imperfect yellow hilum.
